Ecocific specialises in aquatic ecology, benthic invertebrate ecology, water and sediment quality, toxicology, and environmental behaviour, transport and fate of chemicals. Ecocific team carries out scientific investigations of water and sediment to understand the scale, nature and source of the problems in a range of aquatic environments from estuarine water to ponds, stormwater, wastewater and freshwater. In addition to research and monitoring based on data collection, we can carry out desk-based services including the analysis of long-term data trends and reviews of water quality datasets and management options.

The results collected combined with rigorous site inspection permit to understand the effects of point and diffuse sources of pollution and provide remediation solutions. From open water swimming to drinking water standards, we are able to undertake analysis and report to support a healthy environment and community.
