Testimonials

Real people. Real stories.

“There are no secrets to success. It is the result of preparation, hard work, and learning from failure.”
“Ecocific (specifically Julien) has been monitoring my demolition site through the whole process by using his drones. His reports were very informative and thorough. He personally was a pleasure to deal with and covered every criteria of my consent requirements. I would definitely work with Julien and Ecocific again in the future and recommend them. They made it easy for my compliance to council, thanks again.”
David Hall, Project Manager

Firth Industries

“Ecocific responded promptly to our request and developed customised services to support our compliance and environmental management team. Julien delivered continuous laboratory grade analysis of chemicals and customised air quality video. This enabled an enhanced understanding of the local environment and supported our business to reach compliance, environmental and sustainability targets. Based on our experience I would recommend Ecocific as a partner for environmental services.”
Matt Hill, COO

Genera

“At short notice Julien and the team at Ecocific were immensely accommodating to our specific and time critical monitoring. Without this flexibility the weather and site conditions to capture data would have been missed. The presentation of data to communicate the outcome is of utmost importance. Ecocific’s reporting and video capabilities communicate results in an exceptionally understandable way”.

My name is Hayden Henry.

I am from Ngai Tukairangi Hapu a sub tribe of Ngai Te Rangi Iwi, one of three Iwi within Tauranga Moana and the mandated Rep in the Resource Management Sector for my hapu.

I have been in the Taiao (Environmental) sector for 13 years and have tohu (degrees) in certain discipline. I currently sit on Te Rangapo Mana whenua Forum and the Standing Committee with of Tauranga City Council.

I write this letter of support pertaining to the relationship that I have engaged with Dr Julien Huteau and his company “Ecocific”. Dr Huteau brings a level of professionalism, commitment and passion in his area of expertise. His western science background, knowledge and monitoring skills have been a great value to our hapu. Dr Huteau not only brings Western Science but is willing to learn our Matauranga (knowledge) which is evident being  involved with other Hapu entities that he has worked for within Tauranga:

Dr Huteau is a vital part of our hapu monitoring, assessing and reviewing team providing a gaps analysis where there are needs for improvement, modification or mitigation. As an independent assessor, his vast experience has not only improved our own Taiao management but strengthened our relationship with companies within our area of authority especially Port of Tauranga. His expertise has been appreciated by those companies that have contracted “Ecocific” as an Independent service working very closely with our Hapu (kotahitanga).

Dr Huteau has also had the opportunity to advance his own learning by engaging, listening, watching and participating in our cultural discussions and the ability to experience traditional taiao methods, values and processes.
